I got a million things I want to say about this but I'm just too lazy to write it all out. I’ll just stick to the trash talking. First of all, ESPN can suck it. Those guys got a boner every time they saw a pitcher for UCLA. Meanwhile 5’ 10” Blake Cooper was pitching for the third time in a week throwing his 250th unhittable south cack slider. We may not have the big talent draft picks but we got a TEAM. It’s time for “Oral” Hershiser to get off UCLA and get on these.
Ray Tanner is a class act. They guy has his foundation for sick kids, gets the highest GPA in the world series out of his players and wins while sharing 10 scholarships between 30 kids. The man does things the right way or he doesn’t do it at all. He won a championship the right way. Maybe some day that other school will know what it feels like to win a title with class and without cheating. However, we all know that’s not how it works.
There will be no more sitting around in big moments waiting for something bad to happen and no more excuses. USC has a championship and the monkey is off our backs.
