You are the commander of a massive starship of ancient alien design. You and your family were part of a science expedition stranded on a remote planet during a galactic war that pitted the Ur-Quan and her hierarchy of battle thralls against the Alliance of Free stars, which included the forces of Earth.
Having discovered the technology to create your flagship, you head for home, only to discover that Earth and it's allies were defeated. Now it falls upon you, the last free starship in the galaxy, to free Earth, restore the Alliance, and destroy the Ur-Quan.
Explore hundreds of star-systems, recruit strange alien races to your cause, and suppliment your fleet with numerous different types of alien vessels. Configure your flagship any way you choose.
