Ok, some are challenging the veracity of FackCheck's comments on Obama in general for the following reason: FackCheck.org is owned by the Annenberg Foundation (the same organization who funds so many PBS programs). Apparently, from 1995-2000, Obama was involved with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which also fell under the umbrella of the Annenberg Foundation. This is seen as proof of the Annenberg Foundation's loyalty to Obama, and FactCheck's unreliability.

Take this for what you will. It certainly isn't a smoking gun. FactCheck did analyze his acceptance speech and found problems with it, but I'm sure that this won't convince people who buy the Anenberg-as-Obama's-benefactor line.

Just so you guys know - I didn't post this because I thought there was some credibility to it. I saw the factcheck.org thing too. I didn't know about the Annenberg Foundation connection to Obama, but I really don't believe that their website, as I've seen so far, is biased in favor of Obama.

I posted it 'cause I thought it was fucking ridiculous, and the comments even more so; a kind of "know your enemy" post.
