McCain's cred
John McCain gets a lot of passes in the media for "slip-ups" because he is taken to have a great depth and breadth of knowledge. Kevin Drum, of The Washington Monthly, asks the right question: "where does all this cred come from? And what window do Democrats go to to get the same treatment the press gives McCain?"
