Here's what pisses me off: Immediately following 9/11 we say were going to win this "war" protect our freedom we won't run from the terrorists we won't fear them blah blah blah. And now slowly but surely here we are sacrificing the freedom we're supposedly trying to protect. The terroist have made a dent in us and have already won to a certain degree. Yet we continuously have to constantly reaasure ourselves that we are winning this so called war.
This is jsut my opinion here and it might be a bit extreme but if you sacrifice whatever your abstract notion of freedom is for security, I don't think you deserve either one.

"Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it."

- John Adams

"A little revolution now and then is a good thing; the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

- Thomas Jefferson
