THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
3 AM EST THURSDAY.
A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN...MIXED WITH SNOW AND SLEET WILL DEVELOP THIS EVENING.
THERE MAY BE A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW AND SOME LIGHT ACCUMULATION IS
POSSIBLE. LESS THAN AN INCH IS EXPECTED. THE PRECIPITATION WILL
CHANGE TO RAIN AFTER MIDNIGHT.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
